Our mission is to redefine the way people communicate with video. Our platform contains modular mobile applications or features built around authentic reciprocal connection and helping you feel confident and creative on camera. Whether posting a ripple, responding to friends, or engaging with your broader community, we want everyone to feel safe, respected and empowered to be themselves.
We may use artificial intelligence ("AI") to support creative video generation while maintaining high standards of ethics and responsibility. Any AI tools we provide are designed to empower self-expression while respecting the rights and dignity of everyone represented on our platform.
These guidelines apply to all parts of the platform — including posts, comments, messages, profile names, video and pictures, and shared content in all formats. These rules help keep our community safe, respectful, and inspiring for everyone. When these rules are broken, we may take action, from removing content to banning accounts, and in some cases reporting to law enforcement authorities when necessary.
While we have the right to review, moderate, or remove any content from our platform, we do not proactively review all of it. We cannot guarantee that all users will comply with our guidelines or that our platform will be free of violating content. If you come across content that violates our guidelines, we encourage you to report it using the reporting features on the platform. Your reports help us keep the platform safe and aligned with our values.
Our platform thrives on unique communities built around specific interests, topics, or creative approaches to content creation. As a platform that redefines video communication, we believe that user-led communities are essential to fostering innovation and connection. Every community is defined by its users who help shape its culture.
Our platform is not a space for nudity, pornography, or sexually explicit content. We also take non-consensual content seriously — sharing sexual or revealing content depicting another person (whether real, modified or simulated) will result in immediate removal and account action (and we encourage you to report such matters to us so that we can take action).
We have a zero-tolerance policy for Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). Any such content will be immediately removed, and the responsible party will be permanently banned and reported to the relevant authorities.
Our community is built to foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment. We do not allow hate speech, harassment, or any form of offensive and discriminatory content targeting individuals or groups with protected characteristics. Do not post content that:
If you are posting about someone else's hateful conduct to create a satire or raise awareness in the community, make sure you clearly indicate your purpose in your content to give the community more context. We value free expression, but never at the expense of others' safety and dignity.
Our platform is a space for connection and community — not harm. We do not allow content that promotes, glorifies, or depicts self-harm in any form. This includes real or staged acts, fake depictions of self-harm, and content that promotes suicidal ideation or glamorizes eating disorders or unhealthy weight loss behaviors.

We strive to keep our platform free from graphic or threatening content. Violent, very bloody, or gory material has no place here — whether real, staged, or implied. This includes anything that promotes, glorifies, or casually displays violence, weapons, or physical harm — towards both humans and animals.
Context matters, but content that creates a sense of threat or encourages violence will not be tolerated.
We do not tolerate content that encourages, instructs, or incites harmful or illegal behavior. This includes content that promotes illegal goods, dangerous organizations or criminal activities, or poses a threat to public safety. This extends to promotion of terrorism, extremist ideologies, mob violence and chaos or content that glorifies or incites hate crimes.
With great AI comes great responsibility. We offer generative AI features with immense capabilities for creative expression and expect our users to use them responsibly.
False or misleading information has no place here, especially when it can cause harm and confusion, incite fear, panic, and violence, or be used to manipulate others. This includes medical misinformation, misleading information about an election, a referendum or other forms of civic participation, and AI-generated "evidence" of events that never occurred, and/or manipulated content that falsely portrays real people ("deepfakes"). To protect our community, all AI-generated images must be clearly labeled in customized voice-over to avoid confusion.
We support freedom of speech and diverse viewpoints, but draw the line at content that misleads, manipulates, or harms.
Attempts to trick, exploit, or mislead others are not allowed on our platform. This includes scams that target personal information, dating or financial security, and phishing or malicious attempts. In particular, we ask our community to refrain from using QR codes or third party links that can conceal harmful content or phishing attempts.
Impersonating individuals, organizations, or public figures, or creating fake accounts designed to mislead others is not allowed. Do not create accounts that look and feel like they belong to other people, including celebrities or influencers, without their consent. This also extends to catfishing, using someone else's photos, or creating fake business profiles to scam or confuse others. A fan account needs to explicitly state so in its account name to avoid confusion. AI voice cloning, digital doubles, or synthetic media that places real people in fictional scenarios requires clear disclosure and consent from these impacted individuals.
If you encounter any content or activity that you believe in good faith to violate these guidelines and our other platform policies, report it to us right away! We rely on your help to keep our community safe.
These guidelines will evolve as our community grows. As a result, we may take action against content or accounts that violate the spirit of these guidelines, even if not explicitly covered here. These guidelines are also updated from time to time to better align with our mission and goals.
